Redouane Matlaya

Redouane Matlaya is a Process Engineer who specializes in olive oil production. He obtained an advanced study diploma in 2002 and has held various positions and responsibilities at companies in Morocco and Tunisia since 1997. He has completed courses in quality management and food safety (FSSC 22000, BRC), auditing according to ISO 19011, accreditation of analytical laboratories based on ISO 17025, as well as sensory and physicochemical analysis of olive oil. In 2008, he began his consulting career as a freelance consultant for businesses in the agri-food industry. By 2014, he had established his own consulting firm, followed by a training company focusing on aiding olive oil companies with project development, yield optimization, implementation of quality management systems, food safety measures, and quality control in crushing chains, along with laboratory accreditation. He is a co-founder and member of the technical committee for the Carthage International Olive Oil Competition, the panel leader of Total Tasting Services, and a member of the IOC-approved Texoliva tasting panel. Additionally, he has served as a judge at the Australian Olive Oil Competition.
